Welcome to the Petitcodiac  Geocaching  Challenge.  The caches are placed in the Village of Petitcodiac as well as in the outlying areas of Cornhill and Glenvale.

The community pasture started in 1963 and is made up of close to 850 acres.  In the early years as many as 375 cows were placed in the pasture during the Victoria Day weekend and remained there for the summer.  Now due to fewer farms there are approximately 175 cows in the pasture that can be placed there anytime during the month of May. All cattle are vaccinated and given prevention for pink eye. Farmers visit their cattle regularly and identify their animals by ear tags.   The maintenance of the fences is done by the cattle owners prior to the animals being released in the spring.  Even though you may not see a cow..they’re out there. Enjoy the view of the valley!
