About the Cache:
A small keyholder only big enough for a log book, you'll have to bring your own pen. This is an easy one, I placed this cache for the sole purpose of bringing less adventurous folks like myself (see Hellnite's cache below) to the very beautiful Green Ribbon Trail on Old Martindale Road. Once you have found the cache, please take the time to walk down the 529 metre path and enjoy the tranquility of this St. Catharines gem.
If you come in June or early July you can enjoy the added pleasure of spawning carp which put on quite show, splashing on the surface of the water and rustling amongst the lilly pads. You can also find Chipmunks, Frogs and Turtles in here, the kids will love it.
For the more adventurous types, be sure to bring along a kayak, canoe or paddleboard and take a shot at finding Hellnite's Cache Attribute Series - Wade Island (GC5MP4E). If you have your license, this trail is also a great place to fish.
Green Ribbon Trail:
Dedicated to all missing children, this 529-metre trail and surrounding area is environmentally sensitive and is considered a Class 1 wetland. Please be respectful of the land and pick up any garbage you find along the way.
Congrats to NFJK on being the FTF.
