Geocache Description:

Although this is my South Jersey cache it might be wiser to park on Hamilton St. to go after this one (less muggles)! I parked at the posted coordinates.

defined culturally as the area in New Jersey within the influence of the Delaware Valley in contrast to the rest of New Jersey, which is largely located within the New York metropolitan area. South Jersey is the reason they call it the garden state. My grandfather had a huge garden that was bordered on two sides by peach grove and a bing cherry grove. I would help with the garden on summer break and eat up all the fruit and veggies. It is also home to the pine Barrens. A local Legend has it that the Jersey devil, A kangaroo like beast with large bat wings and horns would terrorize locals. Well, I’ve never seen it but it did keep me inside after the sun went down. Don’t worry it’s never been spotted this far south of the Delaware River.
