Welcome to the Bellar-Eden Cemetery Cache.

Please be respectful while you visit this beautiful and peaceful place.

The Cache should be a pretty easy find.
You will be looking for a nice camouflaged bison container.

There are three interments located here

Patrick Donahue

Age: 29 years, 7 months, 6 days


Wiley Christopher Irwin
Birth: Jul. 11, 1878 Vinton Benton County Iowa, USA
Death: Jan. 2, 1881
Age: 2 years, 6 months, 1 day


Julia Murtie Wyman
Birth: Jan. 26, 1876 Benton County Iowa, USA
Death: Dec. 23, 1879 Benton County Iowa, USA
Age: 3 years, 10 months, 27 days


Cemetery notes and/or description:
Five miles southwest of Vinton at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 65th Street lays an acre of land covered with a dense tangle of trees.

Apr 2012:
Linda Waterman wrote, "The cemetery was destroyed in the high winds of 2011, we broke through the debris to find what remains and took pictures of what we could find. The stones are not secured in the ground."

The stones are all laying next to a tree at N 42° 04.836 W 092° 02.823
About 65 feet southwest of where the Cache is placed.
