To the south-east is the Wildlife Observation Tower. The tower was officially opened in May 2013 and provides an excellent location for observing whales, longtails and cahows.
Due west, the tower topped by the "golf ball" is the Bermuda Weather Service's Doppler radar system. The radar is an S-Band Meteor 1500S, built by AMS Gematronik. The radar antenna looks like a very large satellite dish, enclosed by a radome. The radome is the large white dome that protects the antenna from high winds and debris.
There's a picnic table and a couple of benches where you can rest your legs and enjoy the views!
