A nice little treasure hunt in the Pinebank Mansion area of Jamaica Pond, part of Boston's Emerald Necklace.
Pinebank Mansion is a nice sitting area overlooking Jamaica Pond — an excellent picnic spot. This cache is a lock-n-lock container hidden in a wooded area nearby. You don't need to enter any fenced-off areas to find the cache, but you will need to leave the trail significantly. Good off-trail shoes are recommended, as are long pants for the wary. Cache is big enough to swap small trinkets and travel bugs, and contains its own logbook and pencil. Couldn't get a super accurate GPS reading because of the tree cover, but hopefully the coordinates are close enough!
