Geocache Description:

In March 2012 I hide my first cache  “PhD in Geocaching” ( GC3H4VJ)at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.. Now 3 years later its time for my next Geocaching degree “PostDoc in Geocaching”. This cache will take you to a nice walk through the beautiful McGill Downtown campus.

This is a Fun, short Multicache with 6 stages (most of them are 50-100m apart) in the McGill downtown campus. Take your time to enjoy the campus while caching and if you do it right you can pick an earthcache and some other caches on your way.

Stage 1: Fortified Town of Hochelaga

The coordinates will place you on the main path in front of a huge stone monument, to commemorate Hochelaga. In what year did Jacques Cartier visited this town? Let the year be ABCD

Stage 2: The Statue of James McGill

This is the starting point and the first stage. You will find yourself near the main entrance in front of a bronze statue of James McGill. Next to the statue (close to the sidewalk) there is a small plank with some info. The statue was place for what ANNIVERSARY? This number is EFG

Stage 3: The Founders Elm

The coordinates will take you to a very close cement covered tree-trunk this is the Founders Elm that stood there for HIJ years before they had to cut it down.

Stage 4: Redpath Museum

The cords will you to just near the entrence (or the side of it) of the amazing museum (If its open and you have time goo take a look, its free). You are stending near a small fossil garden, how many fossils (or fossil stands in the winter) do you see? This number is K (This stage is actually one of the question in an  earthcache at the same location)

Stage 5: Monument

Again you don’t have to walk a lot the coordinates will take you to a place with a great view towards the entrance. In the middle of the rood there is a monument with a plank on it. This monument is dedicated to a person who died in the age of LM

Stage 6: The keys to the end

I hope you liked the short walk seeing the student’s life/ Now you will find yourself in front of a statue of an anchor with two keys on it. One of the keys has some houses on it. How many houses can you count? That number is N
