Part of a series of terrain level one geocaches within Indiana Dunes State Park, Chesterton IN. Caches are suitable for hiker, bicyclist, cross country skier, or person in wheelchair. Admission to the park is $7 for IN residents. All caches in this series are owned and maintained by members of the NWI Geocachers and placed with permission from Indiana Dunes State Park, (permits on file).
It is a privilege and an honor to be part of this series. Many thanks for the creative minds at work here and special thanks go to Fishing Bear & Co. for coordinating everything in conjunction with the Indiana Dunes State Park.
This cache is the first in this terrific collaborative series and contains an informational pamphlet and map of the trail. Please take one. When we were approached to be part of this project the answer was "YES" before the question was finished. (Normally we don't cut people off in mid-sentence, but, our excitement level was high). Should be a quick find if you are familiar with our work or depending upon your Geocaching experience level. A sharp eye or keen geosense will help.
