Please access this cache by entering the Port of Peninsula at 275th Street, and then park in their free public parking at N46° 30.102 W124° 01.849. Once you've parked, walk towards the bay and around the end of the low chain link fence, then follow your GPS for a short walk to the cache.
Morehead Park was originally the site of one of the early farms on the peninsula until the land was turned over to Pacific County for a public park many years ago. At various times it has been the home to camps run by the 4-H and other youth groups, but now it is simply a quiet, eerily deserted county park with just a resident caretaker who lives in one corner at the front of the property.
