This geocache will bring you to a beautiful ocean view in the town of Cow Head. A perfect spot to watch the sunset on a warm summer evening. There is ample parking nearby. It is recommended to hike the nearby lighthouse trail where you can access other caches as well.
This geocache is hidden on what locals call The Head, or Summerside. It is hidden near an old post from what one day was a fence that separted my great-grandfather's property from Uncle Jimmy's. They grew hayfields here. My father, as a young boy, would cultivate the hay for the horses. There used to be houses along the road leading to this cache. You are looking for a clear sandwich-sized Lock n' Lock container. Please bring a writing tool. There is no clear trail. Just walk through the grass. Watch out for the stinger nettles.
