Geocache Description:

We like to come and see the free concerts offered at the nearby ampitheater during the summer months.  Bring a cooler and some chairs and sit back and listen to the tunes.

Valley Ridge Park

Sport in all shapes & sizes

Valley Ridge Park is located in the Lake Ridge community and covers over 165 acres. Owned and operated by the City of Cedar Hill, this community park is a popular destination for sporting events and family fun with a wide variety of amenities.

Sporting facilities include
  • 6 lighted baseball fields
  • 4 lighted softball fields
  • 3 football fields (2 lighted)
  • 18 soccer pitches (5 lighted)
All built around four concession buildings with restrooms and drinking fountains, and all of which are available for rental through the city Parks and Recreation department.

In addition to athletic fields there are four play structures located around the park, one stocked fishing pond with floating pier and fountains, and a 1.5-mile, paved hike/bike path.

The park also features a 3,000 square feet amphitheater with natural bowl seating for 2,000 available for rental.
