Geocache Description:

A short series of caches based around Ferry Lane on the approach to Antony House.

Ferry Lane is the driveway to the Queen Anne style Antony House. It was built in the 1720s for Sir William Carew and his wife Lady Anne Coventry.  It is still home to Carew Pole family whose ancestors have lived at Antony for over 600 years.  The house and garden immediately around it are now cared for by the National Trust. Look out for great views of the house and the bridges across the River Tamar.

You do not need to enter the garden of Antony House to reach the cache. The cache is on land owned and cared for by the National Trust and has been placed with their kind permission.

Look for all the caches in the series for clues to a final bonus cache.

This is a high muggle area, so you'll need to be on your guard.

If you find a problem with the cache, please do let us known by leaving a maintenance note.

Take care - Ferry Lane is a public highway, so please be aware of traffic. Some areas can be muddy or slippery, so please watch your step. Look out for brambles and stinging nettles as they can creep up on you. Avoid staying under trees in very windy weather and take note of the safety warning signs near the lodge at the top of the drive in poor weather.

This is a multi-cache.  The coordinates here are not for the actual cache. You will need to find the other caches in the Antony series to get the co-ordinates for Antony Bonus.

There is an ink stamp in this cache for anyone completing the 50 Things to do before you're 11 3/4 activities booklet.
