A great kayaking or other type of boat geocache.
Since Detective Bubba got kayaks last year he enjoys placing geocaches that are easy to get to by kayak. Of course any other type motor boat will do also! This geocache is hidden on an island on beautiful Lake Keowee. The shortest distance from a boat landing is at Gap Hill landing but Mile Creek County Park is also just across the other side. Mile Creek does charge $5 per car to enter the park. You are looking for a small military type container stuffed with trade items. As with all geocaches that are placed in nature there is always a chance to run into snakes, spiders, ticks, and poison ivy. Please be aware you are in their home.
