Recently I was reminiscing with a few friends about the younger days of our mis spent youth, riding our snowmobiles accross Michigans upper Peninsula and participating in poker runs, which gave me the inspiration for this cache. For anyone not familiar with poker runs they are really quite simple. You visit each stop, or in this case, geocache. There are 10 playing cards in each of the first 5 caches. When you find the cache, sign the log and draw a card at each cache. At the end of 5 caches you should have 5 cards to make a poker hand. At the 6th cache place your envelope with the cards in it and log your final hand. PLEASE DO NOT CHEAT! When all the cards are done, the winning hand will receive a $5 Subway gift card, coordinates to the gift card will be emailed to the winner. IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON FINDING ALL 6 CACHES PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A CARD, Just sign the log. Caches are all within a 3 1/2 mile range and took my son and I less than 90 minutes to hide them.
It would be great if you could also log your card at each stop and current hand so people can see how things are shaping up!
