Geocache Description:

2006 Commonwealth Games Commemorative Walking Track and Sporting Bollards

The seven sporting bollards around this section of the Yarriambiack Creek, depict the local sporting organizations.

The first bollard is the cyclist, located at the Henty Highway truck stop.

The Beulah Recreation Reserve is highlighted by the approximate 1.2km “All Weather” Walking Track which surrounds the picturesque Yarriambiack Creek.

The other bollards which are situated on the track depict the other popular sporting organizations in Beulah: a footballer, tennis player, croquet player, lawn bowler, netballer and cricketer.

This cache is located on the West side of the walking track, so a nice stroll around the circuit is warranted. There are many parking spots around the track if you wish not to complete the whole walk.  Please be careful of the passing trafic. For those who wish to walk, please also note that there are several park benches at intervals around the track for a rest.

The cache is a small eclipse mint tin in an easy to access spot. Please replace the camouflague.

For the First To Find, there is a local tourism magnet and a pathtag.
