This is one in a series of Lantern Corps Themed caches. It will involve some research on the heroes and villains that make up these Lantern Corps.
Each Corps represents a color and an emotion that goes with it. Red = Rage, Orange = Avarice (Greed), Yellow = Fear, Green = Willpower, Blue = Hope, Indigo = Compassion, Violet = Love, Black = Death, White = Life. The Central Power Battery of each color houses the single color light for that Emotion. The Ring that each Corps Member wears draws it's power from the Central Power Battery or a smaller battery assigned to the Corps Member. This power allows varying abilities such as flight, construct projection (physical creations made out of light that can be anything the wielder imagines), and enhanced stamina. Each cache will focus on just one of these corps and will involve some math and research skills. The hide shouldn't be too hard either. Have fun and ask any questions you'd like!
The Blue Lantern Corps is rooted in the events that transpired during the Sinestro Corps War story line. During the first half of the event, Ganthet and Sayd serve as a dissenting voice among the Guardians as they acknowledge that the Blackest Night prophecy within the Book of Oa is coming to pass. Their willingness to embrace emotions and the love they have for one another leads to the two being banished from Oa. Two issues after their exile, Ganthet reveals the Blackest Night prophecy to the reader, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner. In his description he says: "Elsewhere, a flicker of hope will shine from deep space, like a lighthouse warning the ships away from the rocks. The blue light will hold the line in spirit if not in strength". It is revealed at the end of the issue that Ganthet and Sayd have settled on a planet (later named as Odym), have created a blue power ring, and intend to form their own Corps.
Each Corps has an Oath it states from time to time, usually to recharge their ring. This is the Blue Lantern Oath:
"In fearful day, in raging night,
With strong hearts full, our souls ignite.
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
Look to the stars, for hope burns bright!"
In order to find this cache, you will need to do some math. Find what Space Sector each member of the Corps is from or assigned to protect (these may be the same number or could be different). Replace their name with the Space Sector Number and apply the following equations to the last three digits of the coordinates above:
North: + 200 + Brother Shon + 1
West: + (Kyle Rayner/6) - (Barry Allen/14) - 79
