The Church
St Pinnock Church is dedicated to St Pynocus and dates bate to its origins as a Norman cruciform church.
The tower is the oldest unchanged part of the church dating from the late 14th century when it was built. Some reconstruction and major changes were made to the church in the 15th and 16th Centuries.
As is common for most Cornish churches, the Victorians also made extensive “restorations” in the 1880’s.
Inside the church, there are a number of impressive memorials to important local people dating from the 17th and 18th Centuries.
