Up on the Downs #3 Three Old Soldiers Traditional Cache

This is a series of 10 caches set out as a circular walk of approximately 2.5 miles on the Kent downs near Hawkinge. The walk covers public footpaths and includes some minor roads, where you will need to beware of (very rare) traffic. The terrain includes some quite steep hills. You will need good walking shoes and be prepared for mud following heavy rainfall. You are unlikely to encounter many muggles in this area other than the odd dog walker.

Please:
Stick to the footpaths
Bring your own pen
Sign the logs
Re-seal and Replace caches carefully

These three sentinels guard the cache as they stand proud on the plain.

To get to cache #4 carry on along the path until you come to a point where a footpath appears on your right leading into the woods. Take this path.
