Up on the Downs #7 The Old Barn Traditional Cache

This is a series of 10 caches set out as a circular walk of approximately 2.5 miles on the Kent downs near Hawkinge. The walk covers public footpaths and includes some minor roads, where you will need to beware of (very rare) traffic. The terrain includes some quite steep hills. You will need good walking shoes and be prepared for mud following heavy rainfall. You are unlikely to encounter many muggles in this area other than the odd dog walker.

Re-seal and Replace caches carefully

Almost hidden by ivy and other vegetation, this old building hides it’s former use under a cloak of greenery and decay

When you have found this cache, follow the footpath until it reaches the road and turn left (North) up the road to the next hiding place
