As someone new to Geocaching, I noticed there were not a lot of geocaches around some of the beautiful scenes on the SUNY Oneonta campus. I decided for my first cache and some to follow to take care of this fact, and show off some great places.
In the middle of campus is a beautiful gazebo tucked in between Human Ecology and the Science building. A gift in commemoration of the class of 2007 and 1957, it is the perfect space for eating, visiting with friends, or getting out of the rain between classes.
The cache is found here and only large enough for a piece of swag or two; smaller stuff only. Be sure to bring a pen and STEALTH. This can be a high traffic area for muggles when school is in session, so be cautious when looking for this. Best wishes and I hope you like my first one!
