Star Wars Navigation Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

ripraff: I read recently that Binghamton is planning to renovate and rebuild the physical cache location, so I went out there and picked up the container. FWIW, the clue to this puzzle was the droid R2-D2. One half of the coordinates was encoded with CDEF... (D=2) and the other with R=2 (QRST...).

Geocache Description:

A cache, nowhere near the listed coordinates , in honor of the Star Wars movies.

After using your intellectual powers and knowledge of Star Wars characters to determine the coordinates of the cache, you will probably have to surrender yourself to the force to lay your hands on the prize.

The listed coordinates locate a place (the Roberson Planetarium) where stars may be seen. This could be useful as the stars (and GPS satellites) cannot be seen from where the cache is located. I tried to make the coordinates as correct as possible.

The cache can be found at N TR° ZT.UUR W LIG° GF.IFG.
