I would like to do a series of caches that follow the Steamtown Marathon. I have run the Steamtown Marathon many time and the years I have not, I have watched it since it goes right by my house. Some of the cache hides might be places that the runners have run by and never even realized what they just passed because they are focused on surviving the marathon. 
In this series the cache name will include the approx. mile marker of the route. Therefore they can be placed in any order.
This cache is placed at the Finish Line of the Steamtown Marathon. Ok not really at the finish line but as close as I could get due to other caches in the area. It's pretty close.
This is one of those places I hope none of the runners never miss because they are all aiming to get there.
If you happen to be here on race day, please cheer each and everyone one of them on, they have earned it.
This cache is given a 2 difficulty due to the stealth required. This is downtown Scranton. If you choose your timing wisely, you won't have any problem with muggles. However, if you choose unwisely, you will be surrounded by them.
BYOP there is only a log. Please replace the cache the way you found it so that it will be there for the next cacher.
