Geocache Description:

If ye be running from the witches and the devil himself, the bridge o’r Tam O Shanter creek will keep ye safe! I need not mention the universally known fact, that no diabolical power can pursue you beyond the middle of a running stream. Lucky it is for you that you will have already driven across the bridge, so it is safe to venture into the woods a wee way!  Hard by a path lies the obvious hiding spot, where even soused Tam could find and replace a cache!

“Tam O Shanter” was one of Robert Burns’  most famous poems, weaving a tale of country life, a friendly tipple at the local, and a hair raising race across country after disturbing the witches dancing in the old abandoned church.  Do take the time to find and read this gem!

Please bring a pencil: Tam rode by so fast he forgot to put one in the cache!
