Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the bird puzzle series Kim and I are putting together. Each cache will have a code that you will need to write down in order to find the puzzle. This is a family-friendly series. Kim and I ( and a few birds), have made some very cool containers and have tried to make them as close to the listed birds natural nesting/habitat as possible. We hope you enjoy listening to and catching glimpses of the beautiful birds out here!

The purple finch is actually a small rapberry red colored bird. It is the state bird of New Hampshire. They make their nests in a compact cup of twigs and favor moist, coniferous forests. We tried to do the coniferous tree area but had to go a little further (up) so it wouldn't hopefully be seen by non-cachers! Thanks for understanding. They eat seeds, buds, fruit and some insects.

The code for this cache is located inside the egg.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU BRING BUG SPRAY.
