Geocache Description:

Explore the exciting history and towering scale of the White Pass Railway with this scenic Cache only five minutes off mainstreet in Skagway, Alaska. We thought that it was perfect to leave a cache is this cute little town. There is no bushwacking required so you dont need to throw on your long pants and rubber boots. No pencil in the container so please bring your own. (Also there is a small, tiny, baby prize for the FTF so get on this fast!) Enjoy!

Initially, when a trip to Alaska was brought up in our family, I was skeptical. I was dragged along anyway and was completely blown away by the diversity and culture here. The state is truly a living, breathing work of art. The excellent preservation of parks and historical sites leads to breathtaking views and amazing stories. After witnessing the true beauty and serenity of Alaska, we felt it was right to leave behind a little thank you in the form of a cache. Skagway is one of the last stops on our trip so we figured we should leave the cache here. (Also there is a weirdly low amount of traditionals here.) So I hope people appreciate this addition. We enjoyed Alaska. Now you can enjoy the remains of the White Pass Railway. **No Pencil. Bring your Own. Thanks to Shai-N-Co for taking care of our cache for us. It means a lot. Cheers.
