The Ulysses Butterfly is usually found much further north, in the tropical rainforests of Far North Queensland, but this little guy seems happy enough in his location. The Ulysses Butterfly often flies high in the canopy of the rainforest. It is frequently found along rivers and creeks. Its underside is dark brown or black, but the upperside of its wings is an iridescent blue. As its wings open and close during flight, brilliant flashes of electric blue can be seen from quite a distance.

This cache is hidden near a creek in a beautiful parkland that borders two suburbs. The cache could be approached from either side of the creek as there is a footbridge nearby. It is a micro cache containing a log and small pencil, as well as a small prize for FTF. There may be space for a small trackable inside.
Please open and close the cache using the lip and replace it in the same way it was found.
