Enjoy the beautiful view of the city from here. It is not as well trafficked as the top of the peaks.
The mound just west of this cache is a federally protected wildlife area for the Mission Blue Butterfly, an endangered species. There are only 5 known areas in the world where they still remain and Twin Peaks is one of them. The other 5 locations are also in San Francisco, Marin & the San Bruno Mountains.
