A cache hidden along Godwell Lane, suitable for children and can be linked to other caches in the area to make a short series. Those using the car can park near the farm in Godwell Lane.
We really enjoy geocaching as a family, and our aim was to place caches that would appeal to children, and were suitable for pushchairs. My son has been instrumental in helping to decide where to place our caches and which containers to use. This cache can be joined up with others to make a series. Cache is a small lock and lock box. On placing it contained various items of treasure and a TB. Approaching this cache from Godwell Lane #1 you will come uphill and pass a farm with lots of tractors, cows and sometimes a horse to entertain minicachers. Take care walking along the lane with young children. If little legs are tired you may wish to continue up Godwell Lane from the cache to reach the main road into Ivybridge. If you are in the mood for walking further, take the next right after the cache and proceed down the hill for another hide.
