Geocache Description:

The Erie Canal is a wonderful historic area for relaxation.  Walking, jogging, biking and fishing are permitted.

Just a simple cache to join the many others along the toepath.  Parking is nearby and there is a nice wide walking trail leading to the cache vicinity.  This is a popular walking trail so you can expect curious eyes. To spice things up you should anticipate high quality DECOYS (gasp) and tough braided cord (double gasp).  It will be necessary to replace everything exactly as you found it or other cachers will not be allowed to enjoy the experience.  G never leaves home without tweezers, it cuts down on aggravation. New York State Park permit #34.
