Skátalaug - Thermal pool Traditional Cache

We placed this cache in order to show you the Skátalaug thermal pool. The pool is not visible from the road and there is no street sign hinting about its existence. It is the kind of place you would never discover without geocaching.

The natural thermal pool is about 3 times 12 meters in size.

The water temperature is 34 degrees Celsius. The source produces about 90 liters per minute.

The cache is hidden some 20 meters further than the pool.

Please check the temperature before entering the pool. We recommend the part on the right hand side of the picture. We liked it a lot.
