This church was build in 1974. So it is very recent. It was a gift from a man, that lived in Pegeia, to the church after recuvering a severe sickness. He was so greatfull to God that he decided to have the church built on the remains of an old house or shed. He donated the church to the high priest Stavros. Each year in September that priest still serves a ceremony for the local community....
