In search for church in Akamas (3) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Piliwitz: Time to archive the whole series. The church at the bonus location has been completely restored and therefor lost all its attraction. All pieces of remembrance have been taken away. Also the cache-housing, which I put a lot of work in, has been taken away.
This also took our motivation... sorry...

Geocache Description:

Visit several of the many churches that reside in Akamas.

The church nearby is the Agios Kononas:

There is a lot of history at this location.. Not only about Agios Kononas..

Agios Kononas is named after a person that died at martyrdom in the middle of the 3rd century during the persecution of the Christians in the reign of Emperor Decius.

In this area Danish researchers found the remains of an old village that was inhabited in the Neolithec, Hellenistic en late Roman/Byzantine periods.

At the north east of the site there seems to be another church, Ayos Yeoryios. And a farm house appears to be build at the remains of yet another church, Ayos Irini...

Contents:
- Logboek.
- Digit for the bonus.
- NO pen.

The cache holds a digit you need to calculate (and open...) the bonus cache for this series. The cache is hidden in style of the whole series. This version is a glinstering one in the sun. We even found these to be transparant!!. Not really from this location though.
