As a child living in Maitland south of here, we spent every January in Moonta Bay as part of our summer holidays.
We made numerous trips to Moonta to see our grandparents in addition to our annual holiday.
"Billy's house" across the road with the red roof was always an indication that we were close to our destination and the first of the children to see it would shout "I can see Billy's house".
I THINK it was once owned by someone called William Hill.
