Sue the T-Rex is 25 years old
Let's Celebrate Sue's Birthday and grab an event for the '15 Road Trip.

August 12th, 1990, paleontologist Dr. Sue Hendrickson discovered the largest, most extensive and best preserved Tyrannosaurus Rex specimen ever found. "Sue" is the nickname given to FMNH PR 2081, who has a length of 40 ft, stands 13 ft tall at the hips, and was estimated to have weighed more than 6.4 metric tons when alive. She was found in South Dakota, and RickOnTheRange saw her "live" on tour, at the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainsville.

Everyone is welcome, and please indicate the number in your group when you log your "will-attend".

We are planning a great time with talk, fun and snacks. Have some change to get a Double/Double and a donut, or maybe an Iced Coffee and a muffin. Bring along your most interesting Dinosaur story, or a Dino item for show-and-tell. Of course, we will also discuss geocaching, swap stories, trade or discover Travel Bugs, Geocoins, Geotags, etc.

This is definitely a high muggle area, but stealth is not required, and we are all welcome. I will be enjoying a Large Black, as we meet and greet. If the weather is good, we will meet at the tables out front, but we will be inside if the weather is bad. This is a "Come-and-Go" event so stop by when you can, and stay as long as you want. The Happy Bee and I will there for the whole event.
