Geocache Description:

Our “Texas Trivia Series” will provide information and/or strange stories about our great state. It’s an on-going project and we hope you have fun with it. Permission was given by and a permit is on file with Martin Lake State Park headquarters. An entry fee is required to enter the park.


ARMADILLOS:

1. State mascot.

2. Armadillos always have 4 babies. They have one egg which splits into 4, and they either have 4 males or 4 females.

3. Armadillos are good swimmers.

4. When startled, an armadillo can jump up to 3 feet into the air.

 

PARK AT THE DESIGNATED WAYPOINT AND NOT ON THE GRASS. This is an easy 2-stage multi. To determine the final location, you must go to the posted coordinates and determine how many horizontal poles are above the sign, and use the corresponding redirecting coordinates below:
