This cache is placed near the outskirts of the Yolo Basin Wildlife area on a bumpy, dirt county road. If you go past the gate you will be on private property and have gone too far. The Yolo basin was once nearly 80,000 acres full of wildlife. Due to human activity mainly farming and grazing, the current Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area is 16,600 acres and was designated by the Fish and Game Commission in 1994. During the duck/geese migrating period I will definately be out here taking pictures of the birds.
