Luban je najviši vrh grada Rijeke.
Važna je njegova uloga u povijesti grada, pošto je na njegovim padinama vođena bitka za Rijeku, okončana 3.svibnja 1945.
Danas je Luban lijepi razgledni vrh do kojeg vodi lagana staza. Uskom asfaltnom cestom stižemo do spomenika u spomen Riječke bitke (lijevo na proširenju ceste). Naš put nastavlja u borovu šumu i ubrzo stiže do lovačke kuće gdje je parking. Ispred nje se ide lijevo uz ogradu stazom koja se uspinje na greben Lubana i njegov najviši vrh Pleš na 499 mnv. Geochache se nalazi nedaleko vrha.

Luban is the highest peak of the city of Rijeka.
It has a significant role in the history of the city, as on its slopes a battle for Rijeka was conducted, ended May 3, 1945.
Today Luban is a nice panoramic summit reached by an easy course. We ride uphill on narrow asphalt road to the monument in memory of the Battle of Rijeka (on the left side on the extension of the road). Our road continues towards the pine forest and
soon arrives to the hunting hut where the parking is. Proceed left, along the fence trail that climbs to the crest of Luban and its highest peak Pleš at 499 meters above sea level. The geocache is placed not far from the peak.
