This cache continues the series that highlights the attractions in Sands Township. Blueberry Ridge Ski Trail is one of the premier cross country ski trail systems in Michigan. This is a great family-oriented recreation area. Skiers from beginners to Olympians having skied these groomed trails. Both classic and skate skiing can be done here, as well as Nordic skiing day and night at the lighted loop. During the summer, the trails are great for walkers and hikers, and even deer hunters use BBR in the fall. The Lighted Loop has a restroom and now a warming hut.
