Geocache Description:

This delectable crustacean thinks that if he can hide near fresh water he is safe, but he's not safe from cachers!
The coordinates listed are for trailhead parking.

This spot has had several caches, all of which have disappeared.  This time, it's a different type of hide and hopefully it won't crawl away.   To find the fellow (whose edible counterparts are savored as a delicacy by many), you will need to get the coordinates from the log books of two of the caches beyond Carpenter's Crossing Bridge on this trail.  With two houses being built in Lebanon, as of June, 2015, this trail is unfortunately a deadend.  This cache was placed to make the hike or ride back more interesting.  The round-trip hike to my last cache on this trail (Stumped at the End) is about four miles if you start from Hanson's Ridge Road and the geocache "The Dip".

Please unscrew the container cap to get the log (and not pull it apart. Also please bring your own writing implement.
