Geocache Description:

The latest in the "Sprout and About" series celebrating North East band Prefab Sprout.

From Langley Park to Memphis was the band's 3rd album released in March 1988 on Kitchenware Records.  Kitchenware ceased to exist several years ago. The lyric is included in the track "The Venus of the soup kitchen".   The album reached number 5 in the charts and included single releases "Cars and Girls" and "The King of Rock and Roll" - yes that "Hot dog, jumping frog Albuquerque" one!

Musicians on the album include Stevie Wonder on harmonica and Pete Townsend on acoustic guitar.  Langley Park village is close to where brothers Paddy McAloon and Martin McAloon grew up.

Paking is available at the nearby cemetary.  Please be aware of and respectful to any mourners and only use one of the two designated spaces.  Do not park where the hearses will need access.

The cache is a key box.
