Geocache Description:

South Derbyshire Geocaching (you can find our group on Facebook) is going on tour!!

This tour is in Cheltenham and we know many there will want to meet us, so we are holding an event to make that possible.

Please gather at the listed coordinates at 08:50am to await the arrival of our train.

Balloons and welcome banners would be very much appreciated, and we are now accustomed to people cheering, applauding and taking photographs when we arrive somewhere, so please make plenty of noise. We will have a banner to announce our presence.

Once at the event we will be happy to sign autographs and chat to the fans, share trackables and geocoins and take some to distribute as we travek the city for the day. We will stay there till at least 09:30am so bring hot drinks and snacks to keep yourself going!!

Everyone is welcome to the meet-up, and if anyone would like to join us for a packed schedule of caches around the city for the day you would be very welcome to!!! Dip in and out as you please. Join us for a couple of caches, a few hours, or for hard-core cachers, the whole day. We will leave stragglers behind crying for help and dying on the pavement! We will not be deterred from our mission. Unscheduled stops at cash-points, eateries, wine bars, selfies, pubs or toilets are NOT allowed.

On a serious note: The walk after the event will be a group effort. We will walk as fast as the slowest person in our party, and will stick together in a group with no stragglers. Everyone will have a chance at searching for and grabbing one of the caches on the schedule. If you are more interested in bagging 'numbers' than socialising then please feel free to wander off and back at your leisure.
