Welcome to Hicks Conservation Lands! Just south of Hastings Lake, this is one of the many conservation areas that make up the UNESCO Beaverhills Biosphere Reserve. This land is managed in partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Hicks provides habitat for breeding waterfowl and songbirds, large mammals, and more!

Entering “Hicks Property” into Google Maps will help you access the conservation area. Park in the gravel parking lot on the west side of Spilstead Road. You will have to go slightly off the designated trail through the meadow to find this cache.
