Mount Nyukasa located at the north end of the South Alps is authorized in Minami-Alps (Median Tectonic Line Area) Geopark. The Green stones at the Mount Nyukasa mountaintop has dark green spots and sometimes vein-type dark green. This is aggregate of the Clinochlore crystals and is a characteristic of the Green stone near the mountaintop. You can enjoy wanderful panorama such as South Alps,Central Alps,North Alps,Lake Suwa,Yatsugatake and Mount Fuji and so on at the summit where 1,955m above sea level.
南アルプスの北端に位置する入笠山は、南アルプス（中央構造線エリア）ジオパークに認定されています。 入笠山山頂の緑色岩には、暗緑色の斑点があり、中には脈状になっている部分も見られますが、これはクリノクロア（斜緑泥岩）の結晶の集合で、山頂付近の緑色岩の特徴になっています。 標高1,955mの山頂は、南アルプスをはじめ北アルプス、中央アルプス、諏訪湖、八ヶ岳、富士山など360度の大パノラマが楽しめます。
