ANOGYRA TB HOTEL
Having visited Cyprus over many years and with family connections going back to the 1960's, Cyprus has been a part of our family lives for many years. The village of Anogyra has been central to that connection. Mrs B's parents retired to the village many years ago and visits to them have been gladly undertaken over the years since.
We started this 'hobby' of Geocaching and it has quickly become addictive and now features in daily conversations. Obviously the trips to Cyprus provide an opportunity to search for caches in Cyprus as well. Needless to say Mrs B's parents are now fully aware of our 'hobby' and have even been taken on detours to 'just find a cache' as well as most recently being taken for lunch in Lysos just so we could attend a geocache meet !!
In discussion over the days since, we have been given their permission to place a cache in Cyprus which they are willing to maintain for us in our absence. The cache is at the perimeter of their residence.
Over the years of caching in the UK we have become aware of the TB Hotels, being used as transit points for TB's and have decided to set one in Cyprus. Mr B is a fan of the gadget caches so this is a mixture of the two to keep you interested. Finding the cache should be the easy part - getting in - well that is another thing altogether.
We have placed a concierge in the Hotel which is for discovery only and will tend to the needs of all future guests.
Parking is available a short distance north of GZ.
Wheelchair users can get to GZ but may need assistance with final retrieval.
In view of the cache location, please do not search for this cache during the hours of darkness.
