Geocache Description:

The geocache is not at the published coordinates. The published coordinates take you to a paved area alongside the car park and beach. On this paved area is an information board and closeby are two commemorative plaques for which we have added additional waypoints. The actual cache can be found at N 51 56.ABC E 001 19.DEF. In order to determine the digits represented by letters A to F you need to use the information board, plaques and clues below.

A - On the Suffolk Coast and Heaths information board: last digit of the square kilometre coverage
B - On the memorial stone: first digit of the air force squadron
C - On the memorial stone: last digit of the year that the aircraft crashed into the north side of the Orwell estuary
D - On the Suffolk Coast and Heaths information board: first digit of the square mile coverage
E - On the plaque commemorating the men and women of Coastal Forces who served in Felixstowe between 1940 and 1945: the number of letters in the HMS vessel
F - On the Suffolk Coast and Heaths information board: number of letters in what is represented by a green square according to the Key
