A chance to meet up & play during the Summer Holidays while the adults talk geocaching (and hopefully find some nearby ones!)
As the children are on holiday, and no doubt will soon be complaining of being bored, I thought it would be nice to arrange some events for them, and us! The sixth will take place at:
St Andrews Garden, near the cafe.
Edinburgh
We will beside the meeting point from 11-12. At 1115 we will be having a flash mob. Everyone should wear winter hats and gloves and sing a Christmas song. Before 1115 we should not congregate in a large group. After the Christmas songs we can remove our winter gear (if its not freezing) and there will be time for a chat. We will then be heading off to do some festival activities if anyone cares to join us. The choosen song is We Wish You a Merry Christmas:
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Followed by:
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight!
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
