Fall 2015 Kleber WMA Trail Mix Event Cache

Mark your caching calendars and please join us for the Fall 2015 Kleber WMA Trail Mix. There will be plenty of fun for those of you cachers who like to hike in the wilderness and enjoy the company of other cachers who like to do the same. There will be new caches placed in the area highlighting our unexpected journey along the Migrant Trail with my uber awesome geosister Konacoffee in southern Arizona. She is flying in from Arizona to attend this trail mix event and it would be great for everyone to get to meet her.

We will also be placing a horse shoe geoart in the area. Who knows, maybe there may even be a few Jurrasic Park invaders! We will update you with the number of new hides as we progress towards the event.

There will be a drawing for a few giveaways, as well as a few breakfast items. We will have water and hot coffee, but please bring your own beverages, as well as lunch if you are planning on spending the day on the trails. There should be some homemade muffins and fruit available.

Event Date: Saturday, September 26, 2015

9:00 a.m. – Meet in parking lot of shooting range (coords listed for the event are the parking coords) to sign event log and meet fellow trail mix cachers.

9:10 a.m. - Announcements and free giveaway drawings

9:20 a.m. Group photo

9:30 a.m. – Geocachers set out caching on the trails

Please see attached map listed as Related Page. Most caches aren’t far off the trails and there aren’t many steep hills out here.

Be sure to wear bright orange clothing for visibility as this is an active hunting area, but no hunting should be happening during this time frame.

NOTE: For the Migrant Trail series there will be a bonus. 6 of the caches in the series contains a letter/ number that you will need to seek the bonus cache so don't forget to write them down! Your goal today is to travel along a segment of the Kleber Migrant Trail. Gather information from each container along the route and they will take you to the final destination windmill.
