Hälsobrunnen I Hornsjöböle

År 1740 nämner Crono Befallningsman Sundberg om en mineralbrunn, (surbrunn) vid Hornsjöberg. En byggnad fanns uppsatt över brunnen. Brunnen var belägen vid Hornsjöböletjärn.
Dåtidens ungdom samlades på kvällen före Heliga Trefaldighetssöndagen för att därefter fortsätta till källan för att dricka vatten. Trefaldighetsvakan avslutades i Hornsjöberg. Källan är en så kallad Trefaldighetskälla. Enligt sägnen ska även den heliga Birgitta besökt källan, därför benämns den som en Birgittakälla.
Man vet med säkerhet att det år 1747 fanns en hälsobrunn i Hornsjöböle. Man tog till och med emot brunnsgäster som "lefde ther i oskyldigt nöje Gudi ähra med nytta".
The Health Spa at Hornsjöböle
In 1740 Crown Sheriff Sundberg mentions a mineral-water well at Hornsjöberg. A building had been erected over the well which was located at the Hornsjöberg tarn.
The young people of the time used to get together on the evening before Holy Trinity Sunday and then walk down to the well to drink the water. The Holy Trinity vigil was completed at Hornsjöberg. The well is a Holy Trinity well. According to legend Saint Birgitta is supposed to have visited the well, which is why it is also called a Birgitta well.
It is known with certainty that there was a health spa at Hornsjöböle in 1747. They also received visitors who took or drank the waters and who ‘stayed there in innocent pleasure to honour God with purity.’ </p>
