As the Geocaching.com rules apply, we will not be setting up a cache in any of the three parks at or near Hemingway Elementary School (our summer camp base). Many of you have been to Atkinson’s Park on 8th Street for your sports but have you also stopped by the Bike Park just south of the school or the “Watch Me Grow Garden” on the NE corner of the school property just off 10th Street? Test your skills at the Bike Park then go check out our garden; the garden even has a bed growing veggies specifically for the Hunger Coalition and the rest of the produce goes into camp lunches. Please visit them when you’re done with our quest.
The class has learned to use two different GPSs, each have been used for coordinates so they may be slightly off the mark.
