4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

Small cache in Tupperware container slightly bigger than film canister and painted green.  Follow the secret path to the left of the playground and electricity tower that appears to be a tunnel amongst the bushes. Just a short way down you will encounter the object hiding the cache.

Hidden within the bush of the Market Garden Swamp and slightly to the left of the playground and Electricity tower, you will find a trail that appears to be a little tunnel through the bushes. Follow the trail down a shortway where you will find the cache hidden in something a little brighter than others of its type. The cache is a small round Tupperware container, slightly bigger than a film canister and it's been painted green.

Situated in the suburbs of Spearwood & Munster the Market Garden Swamp consists of 3 adjoining swamps and forms part of the Beeliar Regional Park. Market Garden Swamp is considered an indigenous heritage site.  Local fauna Found there are the Western Long Neck Turtle, Bandicoot and Carnaby's Black Cockatoo. Visit in Spring and you will certainly encounter Mother Ducks and their Ducklings and Swans and their cygnets.

The playground is a decent size and contains suitable equipment for all ages.  Bring scooters to follow the paths around the swamp. Head South and you will find the skate park.
